(COSI) Charity Poker Championship sponsored by Horseshoe Casino on Thursday, January 22 at the River East Art Center. As the lucky tradition continues, Dan Bernstein from WSCR “The Score” AM 670 returns as emcee for the Texas Hold ‘Em competition. Tickets are now on sale for this evening of poker, partying and FUNdraising for Children’s Oncolgy Services, Inc. (COSI), that sells out every year! Players of all ranges will compete for the coveted grand prize of a seat at the 2009 World Series of Poker ($10,000 value) in Las Vegas.
If you’re feeling lucky, take part in a poker challenge against special bounty players consisting of local Chicago celebrities. Players who knock out bounty players win a special prize package. To date, confirmed bounty players include:

“Each year the poker tournament for COSI gets more exciting,” said Jacob Drescher, executive director of COSI. “This year with Horsehoe Casino will be no exception with more fun, food and prizes, and if we play our cards right, more kids going to camp.”
